Transportation is in transition. While possible solutions emerge for moving people and goods around the world in cleaner ways, testing different types of hydrogen and biofuels, the essential challenge remains: What do we do about the huge time lag between current decisions and future impact? How can we ensure that our interim solutions won’t damage both the environment and supply chains? How should we mobilize investment, and create cross-sectoral ambition loops, to trigger bold decision-making and ensure that our long-term solutions are ready faster?
