Jane Lunnon became the first female head of Alleyn’s School in Dulwich, London in January 2021. The school is currently developing its carbon strategy with a vision to be carbon-neutral as soon as possible. Previously at Wimbledon College, Prior’s Field School and Wellington College, she is chair of the Teenage Mental Health Commission, a governor of the London Academy of Excellence Tottenham, a trustee of the Royal National Children’s SpringBoard Foundation and a member of the Royal Shakespeare Company Education Committee. Her first book, “The State of Independence: Key Challenges Facing Private Schools Today,” was published in 2019.
