Alun Hubbard is a climate scientist and glaciologist who is passionate about icy environments. Over 30 years, he has worked across the planet — from Antarctica to Greenland, often off his sailboat — to understand how the cryosphere is melting, flowing and shrinking faster, thereby raising global sea levels. He has also popularized science in the BBC’s “Frozen Planet,“ Netflix’s “Our Planet,” “Chasing Ice” and other gong-winning documentaries on TV, internet and radio.
