David Hope-Jones OBE is the chief executive of the Scotland-Malawi Partnership, the national network which coordinates, represents and supports the many civic links between these two nations. This is arguably now one of the strongest north-south people-to-people links anywhere in the world. Within this network of 1,200 civic connections there are over 250 school members; primary and secondary schools in Scotland, many with active, dignified, two-way partnerships with schools in Malawi.
